Postproxy local ("the app") is a personal tool operated by Cristhian Duque. It runs on the operator's own computer and is used only with the operator's own YouTube channels and Instagram accounts.
Information the app accesses
- YouTube (Google): through YouTube API Services, with the scopes
youtube.upload(to upload videos chosen by the operator) andyoutube.readonly(to read the connected channel's name, ID and thumbnail so it can be shown in the app). - Instagram (Meta): with the permissions
instagram_business_basic(account ID, username and profile picture) andinstagram_business_content_publish(to publish photos, reels and stories chosen by the operator).
The app does not read viewers' data, comments, messages, analytics or any other personal information.
How it is used
The information is used only to publish the operator's own content to the operator's own accounts and to show the result of each publication (link or error).
Storage and sharing
- Access tokens and publication logs are stored only on the operator's computer. They are not sent to any server other than Google's and Meta's own APIs.
- To let Instagram download a video or photo, the file is exposed through a private, randomly named link for up to two hours and removed as soon as the publication finishes.
- No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or analytics.
Retention and deletion
Tokens are deleted when an account is disconnected in the app. Access can also be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page and, on Instagram, from Settings → Apps and websites. Publication logs remain only on the operator's computer and can be deleted there.
YouTube API Services
This app uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
